We had such a great 2 weeks of music for our Mini Maestros Theme! We played all types of instruments, the babies jammed to Baby Einsteins, and all the children enjoyed classical, country, jazz, percussion, multi-cultural, children's classics and children's contemporary - you name it, we had it! We ended the week with a bang - well, lots of banging... We had Gracie & Jackson's Daddy here with part of his drum set. He also brought music instruments for all children to play while he gave mini-drum lessons to each child who wanted to play his drums. They absolutely LOVED IT!! Thanks so much Greg! You really do rock! Enjoy the pictures from that including his son Jackson on his lap when it was his turn to play the drums. On the same day, the older classes watched "Stomp Out Loud" video as they made musical instruments with household items from home, and our collection of tin pie pans. It was not a quiet day at the Academy that Friday! But Rhythm, Rhythm, RHYTHM!
