Ronald McDonald House Pantry Food Drive

Every Spring we do a St. Jude fundraiser, but in the fall we ask the parents to nominate their favorite charity. This year, it was the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. The Ronald McDonald House provides housing, as well as meals for parents of children who need to stay at Children's Hospital for an extended period. In addition, they also provide a lounge with a full stocked kitchen at the hospital on the critical care floor. We did a classroom competition to raise hampers full of items for the Ronald McDonald Pantry. We had 8 hampers and laundry baskets running over with items the parents and teachers donated. Congrats to our 3&4year old class who won a class pizza party and $75 for Ms Sebrina and Ms Latoya to purchase new toys of choice for their classroom. Thank you to all of you who gave during the month of giving! The children were really excited and on board with the giving as well, which was so sweet to see!!
